The Department of Geology and Geophysics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor in Solid Earth and Planetary Geoscience broadly defined.  The successful candidate should address one or more grand challenges in Solid Earth and Planetary Geoscience, including but not limited to topics such as: Formation and evolution of crust and mantle of the Earth and other planetary bodies Deep planetary processes and conditions including their linkages to surface processes Cycling of volatiles and critical elements Fundamental studies of plate boundary processes We welcome experimental, field, computational, or combined approaches to address one o
