Minimum Education and Experience: Candidates must have completed a doctoral (Ph.D.) level program in Oceanography, Earth Sciences or a related field. Ph.D. Candidates must have demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas: Quaternary paleoceanography of the Southern Ocean, Quaternary paleoceanography of the Atlantic Ocean, Quaternary planktic foraminiferal taxonomy, glacial – interglacial reorganization of thermohaline circulation, and foraminiferal isotope geochemistry.
