Tenure-Track Faculty Position in High-Temperature Geochemistry and Petrology
The University of Florida (UF) Department of Geological Sciences invites applications for a full-time, tenure accruing position in High-Temperature Geochemistry and Petrology at the Assistant Professor Level. We are interested in candidates in the broadly defined areas of petrology, high-temperature geochemistry, and the study of Earth and planetary materials with research interests including, but not limited to, (1) the origin and evolution of the Solar System, Earth, the Moon, and the terrestrial planets from the deep past to the present day; (2) studies of deep interiors; (3) the formation and tectonic settings of igneous rocks; (4) stable and radiogenic isotope systematics, including geochemistry and geochronology and; (5) solid-state metamorphic reactions.
