The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor who pursues fundamental research in geochemistry as related to the environmental and health sciences. The applicant’s research must address environmental Earth systems and be relevant to human health at multiple scales. While all areas of geochemistry will be considered, we are especially interested in candidates with expertise in trace, redox-sensitive, toxic, and/or critical mineral elements.
